1. Sponsor

The NextStep FCU Russell Dickerson Concert Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by NextStep Federal Credit Union, located at 150 Defreest Drive, Troy, NY 12180 (“Sponsor”).

The donation recipient, event performer, event promoter, venue, ticket issuer, and any social media platform used to advertise the Sweepstakes are not sponsors or administrators of the Sweepstakes unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 am Eastern Time on August 4, 2026, and ends at 11:59 pm Eastern Time on August 20, 2026 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

Sponsor’s computer system is the official timekeeping device for online entries.

3. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of New York State who are at least eighteen years old at the time of entry.

Membership in NextStep FCU is not required.

The following individuals are not eligible:

  1. Employees, officers, directors, volunteers, and agents of Sponsor;
  2. Employees, officers, directors, volunteers, and agents of the donation recipient, Sweepstakes administrator, event promoter, venue, or ticket provider;
  3. Immediate family members of an ineligible person, including spouses, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses; and
  4. Individuals residing in the same household as an ineligible person, whether related or not.

The Sweepstakes is void outside New York State and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

4. How to Enter

An eligible person may enter by either of the following methods. Each method provides the same opportunity to enter and the same chance of winning.

A. Free Online Entry

During the Sweepstakes Period, visit [free-entry website address], complete the entry form accurately, and submit it according to the instructions.

The free-entry form must be readily accessible and may not require the entrant to:

  • Make a donation;
  • Become a member of NextStep FCU;
  • Open or maintain an account;
  • Apply for or obtain a financial product or service;
  • Attend a sales presentation; or
  • Consent to receive marketing messages.

B. Entry Associated With an Optional Donation

During the Sweepstakes Period, an eligible person who voluntarily makes a donation through the donation website or in-person at a branch may request one Sweepstakes entry by providing the required entry information and selecting the applicable entry option.

A donation is entirely optional. The amount or frequency of a donation will not affect the number of entries received or the entrant’s odds of winning.

5. Entry Limit

Limit one entry per person for the entire Sweepstakes Period, regardless of entry method, number of donations, donation amount, number of email addresses used, or number of forms submitted.

A person who enters through the free website form and also makes a donation will still receive only one entry.

Multiple entrants may not share the same email address. Automated, script-generated, robotic, bulk, reproduced, or mechanically generated entries are prohibited and will be disqualified.

Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are late, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, corrupted, unintelligible, lost, or not received because of technical, internet, network, equipment, or human error.

6. Prize

One potential winner will receive:

Two tickets to the VIP area at the Russell Dickerson Concert, currently scheduled for August 22, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Joe Bruno Stadium, Troy, NY.

The approximate retail value of the prize is $240, which is less than $300 in total.

Only the tickets expressly described above are included. Transportation, parking, lodging, meals, refreshments, merchandise, gratuities, and all other expenses are not included.

The winner and guest must comply with all ticket issuer, venue, performer, security, health, age, identification, conduct, and admission requirements. Sponsor is not responsible if the winner or guest is denied entry or removed from the event for failure to satisfy those requirements.

The prize:

  • Is subject to availability and the terms printed on or associated with the tickets;
  • May not be redeemed for cash;
  • May not be replaced if lost, stolen, damaged, deleted, or used without authorization after delivery;
  • May not be sold, auctioned, or used for commercial promotion; and
  • May be transferred only if permitted by Sponsor and the ticket issuer.

Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater retail value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable before delivery. Any difference between the stated approximate retail value and actual value will not be awarded.

If the event is postponed, the tickets will be valid for the rescheduled event only to the extent determined by the event organizer or ticket issuer. Once the tickets have been delivered, any cancellation, postponement, or change is governed by the ticket issuer’s policies.

7. Random Drawing and Odds

On or about August 20, 2026, Sponsor or its designated administrator will conduct a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Sponsor’s decisions concerning eligibility, entry compliance, winner selection, and administration of the Sweepstakes are final and binding, subject to applicable law.

8. Winner Notification and Verification

The potential winner will be notified using the telephone number or email address provided with the entry.

The potential winner must respond within 24 hours after the first notification attempt, unless Sponsor specifies a shorter reasonable response period because of the event date.

Before receiving the prize, the potential winner may be required to:

  • Confirm eligibility and identity;
  • Sign an affidavit or declaration of eligibility;
  • Sign a liability release;
  • Sign any legally permissible publicity consent;
  • Provide information reasonably necessary for delivery of the tickets; and
  • Ensure that the guest signs an event or liability release, if requested.

A potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected if the potential winner:

  • Cannot be contacted;
  • Does not respond by the stated deadline;
  • Is not eligible;
  • Has violated these Official Rules;
  • Declines the prize;
  • Cannot attend the event;
  • Fails to complete required documents on time; or
  • Provides false or incomplete information.

Sponsor may select successive alternate potential winners by random drawing until the prize is awarded or until there is insufficient time to deliver and use the prize.

The winner may not be charged a fee to claim or receive the prize. The winner is responsible for any taxes that may legally apply.

9. Privacy and Marketing Consent

Information submitted through the Sweepstakes will be used to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, contact the potential winner, deliver the prize, maintain required records, prevent fraud, and otherwise comply with law and Sponsor’s privacy notice.

No Social Security number, credit union account number, online banking credential, debit card number, or credit card number is required to enter through the free-entry form.

Payment information submitted when making an optional donation will be processed for the donation and must not be used to provide additional Sweepstakes entries or improve an entrant’s odds.

Any consent to receive advertising, email, telephone calls, or text messages must be presented separately and must not be a condition of entering or winning. Declining marketing communications will not affect an entrant’s eligibility or odds.

10. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, Sponsor may request permission to announce the winner’s first name, last initial, city, and state.

Sponsor will obtain any written consent required by law before using the winner’s photograph, voice, image, likeness, testimonial, or full name for advertising or promotional purposes.

11. General Conditions

Sponsor may disqualify any person who Sponsor reasonably determines has:

  • Tampered with the entry process or operation of the Sweepstakes;
  • Attempted to obtain more than the permitted number of entries;
  • Used false identities or inaccurate information;
  • Interfered with another person’s participation;
  • Engaged in fraud, abuse, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct; or
  • Violated these Official Rules.

If fraud, unauthorized intervention, technical failure, an event cancellation, natural disaster, public emergency, legal restriction, or another cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affects the integrity or proper administration of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes to the extent permitted by law.

If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the scheduled end date, Sponsor may select the winner by random drawing from eligible, non-suspect entries received before the event that caused termination.

Sponsor will not modify the Sweepstakes in a way that unfairly disadvantages entrants who have already entered.

12. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, the donation recipient, Sweepstakes administrator, event performer, promoter, venue, ticket issuer, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents from claims arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, attendance, use, or misuse of the prize.

This release does not apply to liability that cannot legally be waived, including liability resulting from a released party’s gross negligence, reckless conduct, willful misconduct, or violation of applicable law.

Sponsor makes no warranty concerning the prize except for any warranty that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Disputes and Governing Law

The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to applicable law, any legal proceeding arising from the Sweepstakes must be brought individually in a state or federal court having jurisdiction in Rensselaer, New York.

Nothing in these Official Rules limits any non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable law.
